Nasal, dry snuff

Nasal snuff, or dry snuff, is one of the oldest forms of smokeless tobacco. It can trace it’s roots back over 400 years in it’s current form, to the 1560’s when Jean Nicot first introduced it to the French court. Back then, snuff was considered a medicinal product and even helped Italian Queen Catherine Di Medici’s son with his persistent Migraine headaches. By the mid 1630’s, there were even reports that snuff taking was being done in as far away as China. But not everyone in the world was keen to embrace it.
